Godzilla vs kong - Trying to escape Hollow Earth

What’s happening in this Godzilla vs. Kong movie clip?
Nathan (Alexander Skarsgård), Ilene (Rebecca Hall), Jia (Kaylee Hottle) and Maia (Eiza González) try to escape Hollow Earth as they’re attacked by giant flying monsters. At the surface, Godzilla senses Kong’s presence under him and drills a shaft to the Hollow Earth with his atomic breath. After having grabbed his ancestral axe, Kong ascends to Godzilla for a new confrontation.

What’s the Godzilla vs. Kong movie about?
During the five years following his victory against King Ghidorah, Godzilla has maintained peace between humans and titans. One day however, he seems to turn against humanity, destroying everything on his path.
Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown) convinces her friend Josh (Julian Dennison) to help her investigate the real causes of Godzilla's attacks.
At the same time, Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgård), former scientist and Hollow Earth theorist, is recruited to lead an expedition into the Hollow Earth, the homeworld of the Titans.
As humanity is threatened, a last resort is found by Monarch, the secret organization monitoring titans activity. They decide to use Kong, the only titan who’s not obeying Godzilla. Mainly motivated by his will to protect Jia, a little girl he’s attached to, Kong will engage in a legendary fight against the king of monsters, with the world’s fate at stake.
