Dual Color White-Amber Car Switchback LED Tube Strip Light Review
I was all over the web looking for a great led lights for my car that wasn't the cheap ebay led's. So i went to amazon and searching through all the led lights available and i finally found something that caught my eye. These lights looks very expensive, high class like a mercedes benz or an audi. Also with this lights you can use them as a regular running lights and/or turn signal lights. It has three wires the black goes to ground the red to positive and the yellow to the turn signal very easy to install.
How the white-amber car switchback LED works?
Once the white light (DRL) daytime running light are on and you put your turn signal on, the white light turns off and the amber will start blinking and when you turn the signal off the white light comes on again.
Make them more waterproof
This is an excellent product, i'm going to order another pair for another project soon!!. Just to make sure i went to home depot and bought a small clear silicone tube ($3.49) and i sealed the ends, now is more waterproof. I haven't had any problems with the rain and it has been a couple of months since i bought them and all the led light are working not even a single one out.
How bright are these led lights?
The white light are really bright and when it comes to night time it is super bright it will hurt your eyes if you keep looking at them for a while. The amber as bright as the whites. This is cool because at night the amber looks amazing. I have it set up that during the day my white led are on and at night the amber turns on, and for the turn signal just my regular turn signal from the car.
Size available and flexibility
Per order you will get 2 led lights and it comes in 60 cm (24 inches) long, it can be cut to any length and it can be shape to almost anything, these light are very flexible.
Conclusion and score
I got these lights on top of my headlights but you can put them inside for better view and it will get protected even more. There are youtube videos that will teach you how to open your headlights, but you don't have to you can put it outside just like i did. This lights is a must buy it Works PERFECTLY! and looks awesome too, and it will last for a long time not like the ones selling on ebay, bad experience with them.
